Use the Planet Students Roommate Registry to find your ideal roommate on-line! Keep the search general to find everyone in your area looking for a roommate, or use our advanced search to locate the perfect roommate.

Can't find what you're looking for? Post your own ad for FREE! Whether you have an empty room to fill or are looking for a place to live, create an ad explaining exactly what you are looking for. All ads allow you to describe yourself, where you live or where you would like to live, and describe your ideal roommate. You can even upload some pictures of yourself. All ads are free and will stay online for two months. At any time you can edit your ad, update your photos, and check how many times your posting has been viewed. Once you have found a roommate, simply log-in to delete your listing.

Find a Roommate

From the Roommates tab, select Find a Listing. Enter one or more of the provided fields and click 'Search'.

Search Tips

• click on a column heading to sort your search results by age, gender, smoker, etc.
• keep default search values to see more results
• trying searching for roommates who are renting out a room even if you already have a place to live ... you may find the perfect match!

My Saved Listings

Registered users can save listings from the search results grid as well as the details page for a specific posting. This feature enables you to save as many listings as you like for future reference and quick comparison.

To save an ad:

1.  Execute a roommate search.
2.  Check the box beside the ad(s) that you are interested in.
3.  Select 'Save Ads' at the top of the results grid.
4.  You will receive a confirmation message to inform you that the ads have been saved.
5.  Click on the My Saved Listings link to view all of the roommate ads you have saved.

Note: you must be logged in to save ads. If you do not yet have an account, you can register today for free.


Tips

• To save all listings returned by a search, check the box in the column heading.
• You can also save an ad from the roommate detail page - simply click the 'Save Listing' icon.

Create an Ad

Follow our 4 simple steps to post a roommate ad online today. Please note that only PlanetStudents.com members can add a listing. If you have not yet registered , you can do so for free today.

Create an ad:

1. Select your type of listing

• need a place to stay? Select 'I NEED a Room'
• have an extra room? Select 'I HAVE a Room'

• use the form to describe yourself and your preferred roommate
• provide details on where you live or where you would like to live

• upload pictures of yourself, where you live, other roommates, pets, etc.

• review your full listing ... if you want to make any changes, use the 'previous' button to return to an earlier section
• NOTE: you can edit your ad at anytime after it is posted!

My Listings

From the Roommates page, select My Listings. Any rental properties you have posted will be shown in a table similar to the search results, allowing you to easily manage all of your listings at a glance.

From My Listings you can view and edit your ad at any time, and delete your listing once you have found a roommate.
